Encinitas, CA
Welcome to our Unplugged Village®
Since 2009, hundreds of thousands of Global (formerly National) Day of Unplugging participants have joined the movement to elevate human connection over digital engagement in their cities across the globe.
Karen Cook of the Wyldflower Collective has joined the movement! Karen offers Community Wellness Experiences so families can thrive. Her events foster a sense of community, and give you space to pause and play + sometimes learn something new.
Check out the website for the full list of the latest community events, including upcoming Global Day of Unplugging events (Comedy Night and Dinner Unplugged), Campfire Sessions for Moms and Tween girls as well as their signature Camp Wyld family retreats, Momma group coaching and a Momma podcast.
The Leucadia Farmers Market has just joined the movement as well with a fun scavenger hunt for families. On Sundays (10am-2pm) you can look for clues to try and spot “Mr. Fox” who is hiding out at a different vendor booth each week. You may even get lucky and catch Karen Cook joining Mr. Fox on occasion, providing arts and crafts activities for the kids!
If you live in the Encinitas area and would like to have unplugged programming in your neighborhood, consider joining us, as we all have a stake in building a healthy community!
Fun at the Leucadia Farmers Market in Encinitas - Sundays 10-2.
