Since 2009, hundreds of thousands of Global (formerly National) Day of Unplugging participants have joined the movement to elevate human connection over digital engagement in their cities across the globe.
Michelle Natalaya Moore, Director, Inspired Children & Youth Foundation, has spearheaded the movement in Orlando. IAAPA, The Global Association for the Attractions Industry, also joined in, encouraging their staff and visitors to unplug from their screens and connect with others in real life for National Day of Unplugging 2022.
The Inspired Children & Youth Foundation is a registered charity that helps protect vulnerable children & youth from digital harms such as on-line sex trafficking, on-line bullying and the erosion of intellectual and creative capacity resulting from unrestrained use of social media.
