Julian Hard Cider is located in Wynola just outside the historical frontier gold mining town of Julian, California. The region's apples date back well over 100 years with special heirloom apples going back much further. The space is dog and family-friendly and has a large outdoor patio along with several other small businesses located in a former apple packing facility now named Julian Station.

Unplugged Activity: Lantern decorating and ice cream social!

Follow Rodney Rooster's tracks to 4690 Palm Ave to the courtyard at the La Mesa First United Methodist Church (1 block south of the Farmers Market). Kids, see if you can spot Rodney and get a small prize. Then, decorate a lantern, take a break to shop at the market or grab dinner (mention code UNPLUG for 10% off at Surf Rider Pizza). Return for an ice cream social and the lantern lighting at sunset!

Unplugged Activity: Family Nature Day - Fun for all ages from adult learning lectures to activities for the kids. Bring a picnic or grab something from the food truck. Vendors from various nature minded organizations will have booths and activities. The Unplugged Village booth will have a rock painting activity for kids and small prizes for anyone that can spot mascot “Rodney Rooster” hidden somewhere in the Park. You can also download a scavenger hunt for the kids HERE  to use anytime you like.

Unplugged Activity: JOIN THE VIKTOR PUB CRAWL: CRAFT & SIP! Event includes a craft (decorate a fox planter with succulents), supervision from Viktor the fox, and photo with him. Have a yummy glass of natural Italian wine (additional $) and learn about the JAB Canid Education and Conservation Center. Principe is an Italian family owned winery offering live music, craft events, and an animal enclosure with rabbits, ducks peacocks and more. They are child, dog and yes, even HORSE friendly.
