Welcome to our Unplugged Village®
Since 2009, hundreds of thousands of Global (formerly National) Day of Unplugging participants have joined the movement to elevate human connection over digital engagement in their cities across the globe.
Jewish Federation of Charlotte has joined the movement and some local families piloted a new initiative in 2021 called "Shabbat Unplugged". They celebrated the National day of Unplugging, partnering with the library and incorporating parts of Tiffany Shlain’s book 24/6: The Power of Unplugging One Day a Week.
