Give Back

Unplug to GIVE BACK (Unplug for a Cause)

Crochet for a Cause: Whether you know how to crochet or you’re just learning, this is an EASY project to keep your hands busy and create something fun and meaningful. In partnership with the digital wellness company, lilspace and yarn bomber, London Kaye we are launching an Unplug and Crochet for a Cause Challenge to spend less time scrolling so we can make "Welcome Home" signs that will hang in transitional living spaces for at-risk youth who are moving out of homelessness. Learn more and take the challenge HERE.

Declutter your Pantry: Right now, so many people are suffering from our struggling economy. Find out what organizations are accepting donations. Organize a neighborhood food drive of canned goods. Ask people to bring a pair of warm socks, a coat, blanket or camping goods to be donated to the local shelter.

Set Up a Wishing Tree: Help someone that is not able to leave the house or who is battling an illness. Decorate a Wishing Tree (can be any type of tree) and leave out plain cards or recycled greeting cards so people can write well wishes, a poem or a drawing and hang them on the tree. Wishing trees are celebrated in several countries such as Japan, England, Scotland and Naples Italy, It’s an activity that can lift spirits and bring the community together.
