In September 2019, Morgan was diagnosed with low-grade serous ovarian carcinoma at 30 years old, after an ultrasound to investigate her fertility to freeze her eggs. Low-grade serous ovarian carcinoma is a rare, slow-growing cancer that tends to be more prevalent in younger women when compared to more common forms of ovarian cancer. While working full time as Director of Marketing for a financial services firm, Morgan volunteers her time raising funds for ovarian cancer research, volunteering with the Junior League of Monmouth County, and advocating for better relationships with technology with the National Day of Unplugging and the Unplug Collaborative.
